Whow - what a boot!! We bought a pair of these for our lad to try out on our own shoot and we were amazed at the quality and high spec' of these. I use a pair of Meindels which set me back the best part of £250 and having seen how the Hunter boots have coped with some foul North Pennine conditions and tough ground I'd have no hesitation in changing to the Hunter Boots. Our lad has hammered his pair and they have kept him warm, dry and very well supported on the hill.

They are a smart looking boot in a dark brown full grain leather which is protected at the lower part with a high rubber rand to prevent rubbing and wear on things like rocks and heather. The boot has a padded stitched in toungue and a padded collar at the top of the boot for comfort, in the back of the achilles is a flex point. Lacing is via a 8 point speedlace system with the lower "hooks" having rollers in them to stop laces from locking. The outer sole is a chunky "off-road" Vibram Hunter Trek rubber sole for great grip in the worst conditions. The boots have a HydroGuard waterproof and breathable seam sealed membrane to ensure they are totally waterproof.
