Jack Pyke Second Layer Lightweight Fleece Norgi Shirt
My young Lad, Sam, and myself have “field tested” the new Jack Pyke Lightweight Fleece Top whilst wildfowling in some dreadful conditions and found it to be a really excellent multi-purpose garment, I’m even wearing mine as I sit in the office typing this!!
It is a lightweight polyester fleece that is made in a square pattern that allows the cloth to stretch and give a good fit whilst allowing freedom of movement. They fit fairly snugly although I now contradict that by saying they come up on the big size, I’d normally wear an XL with a 43” chest but this style suits me best in a Large as I want to wear my as a second layer underneath a heavier jumper of hoodie. They have a roll zip neck similar to a Norgie and an elasticated drawcord hem so you can blouson this top if wearing it casually as an outer layer.
Ideal for this really cold weather between a T-shirt and jumper as a second layer or without an outer layer on warmer days or when crashing out at home. I liken mine to a Norgi as it has it's warmth BUT it has the benefit of lightweight, a lack of bulk, quick drying and it does not hold water and sweat thus becoing heavy like a norgi
