This season my young lad has used the Bisley Heavy Mesh Decoy bag on the marsh and it has proved to be a really top quality and functional product.

This bag is not as large as many of the bags on the market but it is capable of holding a dozen duck decoys, a small hide net and a few short hide poles. Sam has also used this bag for his Pigeon shooting and he carries 36 shell pigeons, his hide and his cartridges with room to spare. The sensible size and broad adjustable shoulder straps make it comfortable to use and it is fantastic for someone lightly built like 12 year old Sam who could never manage one of the huge bags. I have also found serious issues with the big decoys bags having had a shoulder strap break on a Flambeau Square Bottom Decoy Bag and also on a Flambeau Floating Decoy Bag – both times I was ¾ mile out across the marsh and very unhappy! We like the very sturdy build of this bag, the secure and reinforced attachment of the shoulder straps, the quick adjustment of the shoulder straps, the fine mesh that stops pointed bits prodding through and the durable canvas around the strong drawcord closure.

Not the cheapest decoy bag but worth the money and won't let you down like some have done to me!
