Dave Jackson (DJ Calls) was 27 years with OLT and was their head of production making the best calls available in the U.S. Since OLT's closure, Dave is now producing similar calls under the DJ Illinois River name and this is his version of the old OLT-77. The Canton Cornfield Clucker is a top quality goose call very nicely made from walnut. This conventional style wooden goose call has a short bell for a higher pitch sound which makes it suitable for Canada's and Greylags. This is an all around goose call for most types of geese although the pitch is on the low side for Pinks and we are working on one at the moment to see if we can re-tune it to get somethig near the old OLT 800 - looks possible. Obviously good on Can's (as that's what it's made for!!) and an excellant call on Greylags - I've put one on my lanyard for the Greys. Tonal parts are made of cedar for greater moister resistance. The DJ Call logo and name is laser engraved into the shell. |
